NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROPOSED SCHOOL BOARD BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2025

            A public hearing will be held by the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors on June 5, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. in the Northumberland County Courts Building, 220 Judicial Place, Heathsville, Virginia for consideration of the Northumberland County School Board FY26 Budget.  The public hearing is being held pursuant to Section 15.2-2506 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended, allowing the public to question and comment on the proposed budget request.  This request, as submitted by the school division, reflects an increase of $1,216,587 in additional county funds when compared to last year’s budget.
