Northumberland County Sheriff's Office Full-Time Communications Officer

Applicants must be 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or equivalent & a valid driver’s license. Applicant must submit to and pass a criminal background check. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift work is required.

Positive communications-related experience preferred. Knowledge of the county and & certified Communications Officer through DCJS is preferred but is not a requirement. Data entry skills and the ability to operate multiple computer terminals are required.

The successful candidate must complete a Communications Basic Course (if not currently certified) and other mandated training.
