Board of Supervisors
The Northumberland County Board of Supervisors consists of five (5) members, where each member represents one of the five election districts in the County. Each Board of Supervisors member is a qualified voter of their district and is elected by that district's qualified voters. Once elected, each Board member serves a four year term. Meetings:
All regular Board of Supervisors meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m. with public hearings beginning at 7:00 p.m (unless otherwise noted). If the Board calls special meetings in addition to their regularly scheduled meetings, they will be posted on the County's Calendar of Events at least four days prior to the meeting date. The meetings are held in the General District Courtroom at the New Courthouse located at 220 Judicial Place, Heathsville, Virginia 22473 unless otherwise specified.
