NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED SCHOOL BOARD BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2026
A public hearing will be held by the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors on April 23, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. in the Northumberland County Courts Building, 220 Judicial Place, Heathsville, Virginia for consideration of the Northumberland County School Board FY27 Budget. The public hearing is being held pursuant to Section 15.2-2506 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended, allowing the public to question and comment on the proposed budget request. This request, reflects a decrease of $244,095 in local funding when compared to last year’s school budget request.
