Volunteer with Our Public Safety Partners

Northumberland County Department of Emergency Services works closely with a number of volunteer public safety organizations that play a vital role in protecting our community. These dedicated fire, rescue, and maritime response agencies rely on volunteers to keep their missions strong, and each one is actively seeking new members.

Whether you are interested in emergency medical services, fire suppression, maritime rescue, or supporting operations behind the scenes, there is a place for you to serve. No prior experience is required for most volunteer roles. Volunteers receive valuable training and develop new skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of their neighbors.
